I want to install ubuntu on my macbook pro (mid 2012) as a single operating system. I've tried several ways but they didn't work
I bought a new hardisk and replaced it with mine but it didn't work either !
in every time I install the system I complete the installition without errors but when I reboot the system I get the same screen :

I tried to install (UBUNTU 13.10 64-Bit) on my macbook pro 9.2 (mid 2012 , core i5)
no errors but every time I install it I face this screen :

Did you install refit (or the equivalent) before installing ubuntu? Ubuntu will not boot using the mac's stock boot loader. You could possibly use GRUB however that is something that I don't have experience with on Mac computers. It is generally ill-advised to completely replace OS X with ubuntu.

I removed the hardisk with mac os XD , I replaced it with a new one because I thought that maybe if I replaced the hardisk with a new one I can install ubuntu easily. Anyway is there any other way to install ubuntu as the single boot system ? because I tried this method and it was helpless ! :(
