Good afternoon,

I've been looking all over to find out what might be happening. I have an HP Pavillion P7-1020 I use as a home media server. My old system drive was on the verge of failure so I picked up a new SSD. I burned a new Ubuntu 13.10 server install disc and can boot into the installation. However after selecting install ubuntu server I'm seeing my keyboard go offline. In fact it seems all of my USB ports are failing. I've explored the BIOS and can't seem to find the solution in there. Any advice would really be appreciated. i've spent the better part of my day trying to figure this one out.

Thanks
David

So I decided to try out the install for 12.04 and it works just fine. Looks like an installer issue on the new release
