recently my mac crashed and ubuntu wasnt bootable so i had to trash it all and restart. i lost my previous disc and downloaded a new one from the site, however when i finish the installation and it boots up instead of showing up with the penguin on refit it shows up with the 3 blocks and my hard drive logo which is unusual and during ubuntu boot up it flashes in white letter "firmware missing" a few times thhen boots up normally. problem im having is when i upgrade to 12.10 to get back to 13.04 after it installs my screen just goes black after the reboot. any one else having this issue and what i can do to fix it. im not sure if its the new ubuntu file or what but it doesnt seem like its running right.
