Hi,
I have just Installed Saucy, and I am aware it is still in development.

Issue is that my GUI (Unity) will loose cohesion momentarilly at random intervals? The effect shows it's self as a dimming in random areas of the screen, which are unresponsive to the cursor.

This lasts for a max of 5 secs and self corrects.

I have no idea wether to raise a bug to help the devs see the issue, or what to raise it under?

machine specs

Acer Aspire Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU T5250 @ 1.50GHz × 2

graphics Intel® 965GM (no additional drivers installed or found)

3 Gib RAM

Thanks

Pete

It is possible that just running the system for a while will correct the problem. I am not running Saucy but I have seen what you are describing in 12.04 and 13.04. I think sreadahead just needs to do it's thing a few times and the system will get more responsive.
