Today I upgraded Ubuntu 12.10 to 13.04. When the download was complete and files were extracting, suddenly due to unexpected power interruption, the process could not be completed and it was half done. Thereafter on restoration of power supply, computer started, but the OS is not working, usual first screen is not appearing. It became standstill. Under the circumstances I need suggestions and help as to how it would be restored.
