An unresolvable problem occurred while initializing the package information.

Please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and include the following error message:

Ubuntu since 12.04 has what are called Multi- arch libraries. This is what they do

If you have any need for 32-bit programs on a 64-bit system, then lots of library packages need to be installed for 32-bit support (denoted by "(i386)" in the package name) in addition to their native 64-bit versions. Multi-arch is a new way of handling this developed by Debian.

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/MultiArch

Have you tried re-installing that deb package by right clicking on the deb package and selecting to open with Software Centre? I think that the archive you are looking for is that deb package.

Regards.
