Hi all
This is strange, I reinstalled my Ubuntu 12.04, added gnome, when I change user and choose GNOME Classic, it starts with Unity. When I log in as Guest I can do the same and I have Gnome. Any idea where is the problem. I look for answer to this question all over the net and could not find the answer. I reinstalled Ubuntu one more time and still the same issue.
Thanks in advance
Robert

I installed 12.04 and gnome today. It works so the above post is correct.

Apt-get install gnome-pannel

it works logging as an guest, but not as user.

Did you do the Updates?you should install UBUNTU 12.04LTS then Upgrade, check these instructions http://www.techdrivein.com/2012/06/25-things-i-did-after-installing-ubuntu.html
I have Ubuntu 12.04LTS installed and i have installed UNITY,Gnome3, Gnome classic2.0, Ubuntu2d, Today i also Added Xubuntu Desktop to Ubuntu 12.04 LTS lt's working great so far,so i have one more choice all i have to do is log out and i can choose bettween desktops
but xubuntu desktop is very good too and i'm use to it in my other Computer,
