My Ubuntu box died, I have ordered a new box but it is Intel based, this Windows box is AMD based so when I download Ubuntu I get the AMD version, how do I get the Intel version? I want to be ready when it shows up, tired of this Windows crap.
TIA

Hello!
AMD64 is a historical naming convention based on the fact that AMD brought 64 bit architecture to the consumer market just a bit earlier than Intel. It is now often referred to as x86_64.
Don't worry. It'll work.
