Ubuntu Development Pages SDK (Desktop?)

I went to the Ubuntu Developer pages and and the big feature seems to be about the SDK at phone development.

Where have the tutorials on Desktop development gone or is it all one and the same now?

Seems to be all the same now. I've been looking for some good tutorials, and haven't found too many out there.
