13.04 upgrade to 13.10

Hi, I just upgraded from 13.04 raring to 13.10 saucy sallamander. As i rebooted my system, after typing in my password, the screen became static, my touch pad stopped working and after a while, a dialog box popped up saying "System program problem detected" but still I couldnt move my mouse on the screen. Can anybody please tell me what to do because i wouldnt want to lose my file by formatting my sysytem.

Hey guys, guess what? I just got the problem fixed. I had to reinstall my desktop and everything came back to normal. This is what I used "sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop". Thanks for all your concerns :D

Ubuntu 13.10 is only in Beta testing. Next time you want support for a version that has not been released, you need to post in the correct Development section. This section is only for versions that have been released.
