In Ubuntu 12.04 x64 sometimes the orange selection color on menus does not show up when I hover my mouse down the various menu entries. (Hope this is a decent description.) All of the menu selections still work and the problem occurs at random. Also, I am using the default Ambiance theme.
This does not appear to be a graphics driver issue because I have seen this happen with various graphics cards. The system I am running Ubuntu on right now has ATI 5770 graphics. I have the proprietary drivers installed. Everything graphics wise looks better than it ever has, aside from this minor issue with the global menus.
Does anyone know of a fix or work around for this?
Edit: Could anyone else confirm this or is there a bug report for it?
