I need a decent PDF annotator, and okular is probably the best. However, I'm trying also to run a very cut down, lean system, mainly using Gnome. What is the minimal install of KDE/Qt libraries I need to be able to run okular within Gnome? Can I have okular without the complete KDE? If I enter "sudo apt-get install okular" I get the lot - which I neither want nor need.

Thanks, A.

Try installing with the --no-install-recommends option
