Hello,

I've been using GIMP for a long time and I used to use a Python-fu plugin called PhotoLab for batch image processing.
I installed a fresh Ubuntu 12.04.1 on my system with GIMP 2.8, but now I can not get the plugin to work.

I followed all of the instructions provided on the site here:

http://gimpfr.org/contrib_photolabo.php

I especially like to use the automatic web gallery option of the plug-in.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how to get it working, or if not, does anyone know of another plugin or program to generate web galleries from a batch of photos?

Thanks

Toz

I downloaded and extracted the contents of the file to the $HOME/.gimp-2.8/plugins folder (hidden folder in my home directory) and on re-starting gimp, the Photolab sub-menu entry showed up in the Filters menu.

Thanks for the reply!

That is what I tried, but I don't have it in my filters menu...
I will try again...
