I'm currently studying Computer Networking Technology on my placement year fitting KNX, however I want to start working on my dissertation while I'm here but i'm unsure on what exactly I'm wanting to do. I like working with Ubuntu and open source products but I can't think of anything in specific to do. My modules are web design, networking technology, C/C++, home sensors (Arduino) and obviously operating systems (My preferred subject). So I could incorporate any of these into my project if needs be but looking for somewhere to start preferably under Ubuntu ... I know its pretty vague but any help would be appreciated!
