Yesterday,on comnputer #2, I had a problem with dependencies on something I had installed..Forgot what it was. Anyway,I opened the software center and Ubuntut told me I had a problem with this and asked ever so nicely if I wanted to fix it...
I said yes and in a blink of an eye,it was fixed.
So much nicer than Windows!

I agree. Ubuntu's friendly in a good way, it knows if something's not right. :) Unlike Windows, "should I start the troubleshooter?" which most of the time, does nothing!

I had access to a Windows 7 computer the other day and it wasn't connected to the internet. Jolly good for me! I opened the balloon thingymabobbler and opened the "troubleshooter". It couldn't come up with an answer, and it asked me if I wanted to search the internet to find out what the problem was. I clicked on it and it brought me IE, which said it couldn't connect and asked if I wanted to open the troubleshooter. I did so. The cycle repeats.
