View Full Version : Downgrading from 13.04 to 12.04

Can someone please tell me how to downgrade from 13.04 to 12.04? Thanks.

There is no downgrade option. The only way would be to re-install 12-04 over the top of 13-04 thereby over-writing everything. You could save your data first then load that on to 12-04 later.

Unfortunately You will have to backup your files and reinstall 12.04. I don't of any operating system that offers a downgrade option.

You could copy all files/photos/music etc to another device then re-install 12-04 as you first installed it but on to the same partition(s) that 13-04 currently resides.

By the way, what's wrong with 13-04?

Can you recommend a way to backup?

I prefer disc or USB , but it depends on the amount of data . Items like wallpaper and non-personal documents I sync to Ubuntu One.

All of the burning programs don't work for me, google chrome runs into a lot of unplayable youtube videos, doesn't support as much programs.
