Nowhere. You can't trademark a circle or the color orange.

Doesn't look anything like the Ubuntu logo. The only similarity is where the "dots" are there is a circle. And that dots aren't even true dots as they are connected with the lines...

^ Yes that is the worlds worst CSS.And, that does not look like an Ubuntu logo whatsoever, and even if it does, why would Microsoft even WANT to copy it? Don't they look DOWN on Linux?

Greetings,

Don't they look DOWN on Linux?

Last year Microsoft was the 17th largest contributer to the Linux Foundation. In today's world Linux cannot be ignored as a player in the Enterprise Computing arena, even by Microsoft. They are a development partner with Linux. Like it or not money still makes the world go around even with FOSS Linux. I like my Ubuntu Raring just the way it is but it is destined to be more, and a few bucks from MS, Samsung and all the rest will help it get there.

Canonical weren't the first people to use a "circle of friends" style logo. I was around a long time before Ubuntu adopted it.

So what? A. It doesn't even look like the Ŭbuntu logo.B. Canonical wasn't the first one to use the circle of friends design, as pointed out by John_McCourt.
