Hi,

I have a single SSD drive that has a "recovery" partition (which I'd like to keep). I have TrueCrypt whole-drive encryption installed in Windows 8. I installed Ubuntu but after running TrueCrypt whole-disk encryption, I only got a pink screen when I chose to boot into Ubuntu. I figured I encrypted the ubuntu installation, and since the "on the fly" decryption occurs within my Windows 8 installation, Ubuntu couldn't run. I uninstalled Ubuntu.

My question is this: how can I have whole-disk encryption with TrueCrypt installed AND have a Ubuntu dual-boot? The Ubuntu install doesn't necessarily need to be encrypted, although I would prefer it to be.

My current partition situation is this: http://i.imgur.com/STiKo9q.jpg

Thank you!
