Hi
I installed e17 and logged out, chose it, and logged back in again. Couldn't change screen resolution, logged out, switched back to Unity, logged in and crash.
Now it hangs at the splash screen. I have auto log-in on so I don't know whether or not I actually get passed the point where I would have the log in screen.
I can choose recovery option at boot and go into a root prompt, but I don't know what to do there.
Any idea how I will be able to fix it?
EDIT: When it hangs at the splash screen I can hit CTRL-ALT-F1 and it says
Ubuntu 13.04 ekhaat-P7624 tty
ekhaat-P7624 login: * Starting [OK]
and nothing else, and it just stays there
