Docear (http://docear.org), the free and open source academic literature suite, and the Ubuntu-based distro, UberStudent (http://uberstudent.com), are joining to call for a developer to code Docear4Libre/OpenOffice.
You will be paid. Please read the required specifications (http://www.docear.org/2013/08/14/who-wants-to-develop-docear4libreoffice-or-docear4openoffice/) and how to submit your proposal.
Docear works well under Linux, because it is written in java, but since there is only a Docear4Word plugin for it, Linux adoption of Docear hasn't really happened, for obvious reasons. Let's change that!
Please ask your friends if they can develop such an add-on -- write about this opportunity on Facebook, Twitter, etc., to help us to reach as many potential developers are possible!
(I could not find a better sub-forum to post this in, one that I have permission post in.)
