View Full Version : [ubuntu] Still can't get NETFLIX to work with a Silverlight error!

Sorry to bang on about this but I've followed the recent advice on how to install NETFLIX and still have a problem.

Although NETFLIX opens, when I chose the film/programme, I get a Silverlight error and the app will not continue.

The process I have used so far was:

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:ehoover/compholio
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install netflix-desktop

Is there something else I need to do?

Many thanks

Beakerboy

Stevesy

Thanks for the information. I think I followed all the advice but I still get the screen telling me the Silverlight plugin has crashed. It suggests reloading the page but that gives the same response, both times with the option to report the problem.

Is there something obvious that I am doing wrong here??

I don't think it's something "obvious". Not sure exactly what the solution is but you might like to take a look at the following:

Wish I could be of more help, hope you get it sorted : ]
