Where does gnome writes the keyboard layout configuration ?

Hi all


I use unity-greeting which only lists the French keybord (this is the one I'm using). I want him to add some others in the choice list.

I guess that using the graphical interface gnome-control-center and adding some layout should do the trick. ... but ...

I want to add new layout by changing directly by hand a configuration file (for automatic installation purpose). Thus the question is :

what file do I have to change in order to add keyboard layouts in Gnome ?
