I am running Ubuntu 13.04 with Gnome fallback desktop. Some programs such as Firefox, Thunderbird, LibreOffice won't quit when the little red x is clicked, or when ctrl Q is used. Quit from the file menu works, however. Othe programs like Gnome Terminal and Gedit work as they should. I switced to Unity and also the regular Gnome desktops and this function works in them so it seems to be a configuration problem in the Gnome fallback version of the desktop. Where do i look to fix this?
