Ubuntu 11.10

My uncle is having a laptop which is running on Ubuntu 11.10. Can i copy the setup files of Ubuntu 11.10 from my uncle's laptop and install Ubuntu 11.10 on my PC.

Also explain me how to get that setup files of Ubuntu 11.10 from my uncle's laptop and installation process:D

Ubuntu 11.10 has now reached End of Life. It is no longer supported with security updates. You should think about installing a later version of Ubuntu (12.04 - four more years support) on your PC. It is free to download and install.

Note also that you do not have a machine that has identical hardware to your uncle's laptop.
