Black screen after installing 13.04

Hi ok so when i install Ubuntu 13.04 all i get is a black screen no gui to login or errors nothing. What am i doing wrong and how can i fix this?

It's just the Intel grapics card that came with the pc. But i do have a old nvidia fx 5500 card around here that i can install.
