Hello MD Team,

I just started using linux and ubuntu 12.04 is my first OS that i used. I've tried many distros but i've decided to stick with this one because it works the best with the hp tc4200 i'm using. I've introduced myself in the absolute beginner's section and I was wondering if you could help me out. Using linux really sparked my interest in computers more than when I was using MS Windows and I would like to learn more about UNIX/Linux and how to fully operate it. It might take months, years, who knows, but I think it would be a good hobby for me to pick up(i have none yet (-_-)*). Hope to be hearing from you.

Welcome to Linux-land, I'm glad that you are getting good results.
There are lots of Linux related sites out there. Have a look at a free magazine (pdf) that might interest you.
