windows rebooting during startup

i have a dual-boot system with windows vista and ubuntu 12.04 lts. the windows partition was loaded first. i can load into ubuntu with no problems but when i try to boot into windows, it will try but then it will reboot the whole system. is there anything i can do to fix this.:icon_frown::icon_frown::icon_frown:

IF you're unable to boot into Vista then try using Boot-Repair: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Boot-Repair
