Fresh installed ubuntu 12.04 hang on reboot and freeze afterward.

After the installation of ubuntu 12.04 was complete, I was prompt with a restart.

Ubuntu then move to the screen with 5 dots, and I was ask to rekove installation media and press enter. I did it and the screen frooze, after a while I decided to maunually restart ubuntu.

Boot up ubuntu again but now the screen is black. I have tried reinstalling ubuntu many times all ending with the same result.

Your graphics device might be important...
Have you tried booting with nomodeset
