Hi do I need to install Cairo-Dock / Glx-doc with ubuntu 13.04 if I want to have control over the launcher? I would like it to pop up on the bottom on the screen instead of the far left. I like the current launcher but just saw a youtube video on Cairo after reading a post on here about it and it seems much more flexible. Thoughts?

describes it nicely,....
BTW, your Unity launcher cannot be positioned anywhere but at the left of the screen.... you can tweak the Unity launcher with Unity Tweak tool though...
herez a link you can try:
