13.04 top bar display problem

Everything was fine until i upgraded to ubuntu 13.04 . The top bar now isn't showing correctly , and the dash too. Here are pictures that explain more

My graphic card is ATI x1250 on RS600 driver.

Are you using the ATI drivers or the included open source drivers for your card? You might want to try switching drivers and seeing if that helps (open source for proprietary/proprietary for open source). I've had some difficulty with the ATI drivers and have switched to the open source one.

FGLRX is not supported anymore , so I don't use it . I am on an open source driver.
