Hi I'm not very knowledgeable in Ubuntu or Linux in general expert. I first installed Lubuntu 12.04 on my Lenovo x100e Netbook with an AMD Neo MV-40's integrated graphics when 12.04 came out, but held it back from going to 12.10. When 13.04 came out, I decided to upgrade through the download method and so went through 12.10 before getting to 13.04. But when I upgraded to 12.10, I noticed LUbuntu failed to detect the correct screen resolution like it had for 12.04 (my monitor's resolution is 1366x768). I kept upgrading because I thought it might have been a problem with 12.10, but it still failed to detect the resolution, giving me 1024x768 instead. I tried to fix it using xrandr, but when I try using it, I get "Failed to get size of gamma for output default" and wasn't able to change the resolution. So I checked if it was a problem with either 12.10 or 13.04, by running both versions off a usb, and both correctly caught the resolution. I can't seem to find the problem or fix it? Also, sorry for the super long post.

You might need to specify the refresh rates for your monitor. HorizSync and VertRefresh rates
