My Asus 1005HA had a dual boot Win/Ubuntu.
Something went wrong and it did not let me boot in Win (booting in Ubuntu was fine). So I removed Ubuntu.
Boot repair shows : http://paste.ubuntu.com/5801154.

Attempt to boot from a live CD gives error : 'Windows is hybernated, refused to mount.' Also: 'the NTFS partition is in an unsafe state. Please resume and shutdown Windows fully (no hybernation or fast restarting), or mount the volume read-only wiht the 'ro' mount option'.

Is it possible to remove the hybernation? If not possible, I will not be able to reinstall this Win8 evaluation. But will have to reinstall old XP .

The linked material shows you ways to remove the hibernation from Win8 -- but realize, this could easily corrupt the Win8 filesystem in the process: http://www.hecticgeek.com/2013/01/mount-windows-8-partition-ubuntu-hybrid-boot/
