Cannot start unity

After the updates i've done yesterday my unity DE is broken I have tried different commands to restart,replace unity, reset compiz,reinstalled unity using aptitude even purge it and reinstall it, but not luck with anything,The unity plugin from compiz config settings manager was set,tried to unset and set it again but with no succes.The issue is on both my 2 accounts(even guest account).

Yes, I'm having the same problem. The other DE's work (gnome 2, cinnamon) but unity is completely broken.

The AMD graphics drivers are working.

There were no unity upgrades today, but there were some new libmesa things, unfortunately: unity still won't start.

I found a bug on launchpad which suggested I try these 2 commands:

dconf reset -f /org/compiz/
unity --reset-icons &disown

That strangely worked, though I have no idea why.

This did not worked for me so I reinstalled.
I am thinking tough it was something related to compizConfig since after the reinstall I could not modify nothing from unity until I deleted the compiz directory from "/home/user/.config".
