im using a Dell Latitude D600.When I try to boot from the CD I get the message "this kernel requires the following features not present on the CPU: pae"
a possible solution I found was installing 10.04 and upgrading later. I'd just use the internet to install Ubuntu, but the PC I'm trying to install it to has a blank hard drive and can't be used.
