View Full Version : Screen tearing (Where is sync to vblank?)

I'm having some issues with screen tearing using my GTX 680 with proprietary nvidia drivers and ubuntu 13.04. I installed ccsm and manually set my refresh rate to double the refresh rate of the monitor, but that doesn't seem to have helped much. I heard another helpful setting to enable in ccsm is to check the box that says "sync to vblank," but I can't find that box! I've read a couple of places that it should be under "General options" in "Display Settings," but I don't see it there.

Any help would be awesome.

Thanks.

Ah, I found the sync to vblank setting under the openGL section, but I'm still getting some screen tearing even after setting that in both ccsm and the nvidia x settings.

Any other advice?
