Hi guy.....i need an advice. I have an old PC exactly an AMD Athlon 64 with processor at 2Mhz and 2Gb of RAM. Now in this Computer is installed Windows xp 32bit and i want install a dual boot with linux.

This PC is really slow at the moment with XP.....also the navigation on internet is a problem sometimes. Apart the problem with XP for that kind of PC is better to install a light version of Linux as Lubuntu or i can try Ubuntu?

your hardware is able to run them both; then all depend on which you will like better.

I woul like to have a faster pc....to navigate....to do basic things...

You can try both, though I would recommend Lubuntu. To install both, install one from CD or DVD and then add the other one. You'll find the packages ubuntu-desktop and lubuntu-desktop in the repository. Add the one you need. Then when you've decided on one, you can remove the other:
