I'm in need of historical weather going back at least 5 years for a univerisity project to show the effects of the Jet Stream and having searched through LaunchPad I found 'Weather Indicator' which displays current data but doesn't show any historical.

So far, I've collected UK data from http://www.weatherlab.co.uk and some airport data via the excellent http://www.wunderground.com but can't find any complete data sets for many of the mainland Europe countries.

Any help appreciated.

Welcome to the forum, Beakes.

Your first link is likely the best, for what you're looking for.

This site seems viable.

Some years ago I tried to get data on a historical storm in the Bay of Biscay. I did manage to find Spanish records but I cannot remember where.
Maybe doing a search for weather buoy data will help.

This might help
http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/oa/wdc/index.php?name=worldweatherrecords

I know it's a US govt agency, but they keeps records of the whole planet.

Might take a little digging though.
