Issues with last update

Hello everyone, i've updated my version off Ubuntu, this afternoon. And sinde then the following "bugs" apperaed.
- Can't shutdown. When i choose the shutdown option, it appears the log off menu.
- After the logoff, when i try do restart or shutdown, It appears the option but i click on the button and nothing.
- When i try to access my local drives is always asking for my password.

And most important the pc feels slughish, opening files, browser, even Libreoffice docs.

Someone nows if it is a update problem?

What way did you installed ubuntu?

Do you need any propietary driver for graphics card, keyboard,...?

Hello, my system is:
AMD Athlon II X4 640
Asus M4A88TD-EVO
2X2GB OCZ Gold DDR 1333
HD 4890 1Gb DDR5

I'm runnig 13.04 Ubuntu. I've Windows 7 64, runninig. But I didn't use it for a week, i've being using Ubuntu.
No propietary driver.
I've installed by usb boot. But I installed Ubuntu 2 months ago.
