All right, so here's the situation. I've got an IBM ThinkPad laptop, with Windows XP installed on it. There are no other computers in the house. There aren't really any other computers available to me. I've got a few install disks, Fedora 17, Ubuntu 10.04, Kubuntu and Lubuntu. So far, tey all start to load, but they won't actually load an operating system. I want to install something, prefferably one of the 'untu's. I'll post specific specs of the computer in just a moment, just wanted to see if anyone had some idea where to start.
