It has been a long while since I have used linux. I have been using window 8, then I learned about Krita and my paint.
Since there is not a windows version of mypaint 1.1 yet I installed ubuntu studio 13.04 on an external hard drive.
I think for now I will do most of my graphics work in studio.
I have mypaint 1.1 install and it works great, but I want to use krita for inking.
I installed krita and it worked ok at first. It was 2.6 I think. So saw the new features in 2.7 or 2.8. Then I uninstalled krita found the ppa for the newer version and istalled it.
When I open krita the new document window open as is supposed to, but when I click create it starts to open then just closes. I have tried to completely remove krita, but when I open it the settings in the doc window are the same as they were before the install and it still closes.
I was hoping that if i could completely uninstall and reinstall that it would work, but the same issues keep happening.
If anyone can make any suggestions at all it would really help. I think with mypaint, krita and gimp I would have a complete graphics setup.
