Hi,
I recently upgraded to 13.04 from 12.04LTS, but the new nautilus behaviour is annoying when I look for a file. As you know in former versions, when we hit a key, the selection would move into the file, but now it starts searching in every folder. I know the file is in the current folder, only need to move the selection quickly. So how can I turn off this new behaviour?
Thanks
Ras

It was one of the features removed by GNOME in 3.6, so no, no way to enable it...
...except for installing Nautilus 3.4, which you should, considering all the removed features. Instructions: http://www.webupd8.org/2013/04/get-nautilus-34-features-back-in-ubuntu.html
