Hey all,
I just installed Ubuntu 12.04 on a desktop computer as the only operating system on that computer for the first time! Hooray!
Unfortunately, after trying to start it I encounter an issue. The log-in screen comes up, but when I type in my password, I see the background and my mouse but the desktop never comes up. (Never meaning I've waited 10 minutes before attempting to restart.)
Thoughts on the issue?
