problem installing a Programm

im being trying to install a programm in ubuntu 10 b unable to do it....... its rnammer i wanted i'll mail u the tar.Z file of its.... plzz healp me out .......

Can you provide a link to the software home page?

A quick search of google brought up this website (http://www.cbs.dtu.dk/cgi-bin/sw_request?rnammer), that also brought up these installation instructions (http://www.cbs.dtu.dk/services/doc/rnammer-1.2.readme). Is this the software that you are tying to install?

What commands are you executing and what errors are you getting?

its an softwaer provided to my institute ....... no direct web page is available........ i can mail u the setub just provide ur mail id.... thank u

I suspect that English is not your first language however, from the forum posting guidelines section

Perhaps you should contact the software provider and ask for installation instructions.
