screen and face recorder

I am thinking of starting a youtube web series but I'm having trouble finding a screen recorder that will also recorder video from my web cam simultaneously. Does anybody have any ideas of how this can be accomplished. preferably with record my desktop? I thinking there must be a good plug-in for record my desktop.

I suggest using kazam (apt:kazam), you can record the webcam by having a viewer open on the screen and making the window always on top, you can open /dev/video0 in vlc smplayer totem etc. with some webcams, you can use actual viewers like Cheese (apt:cheese), Camorama Webcam Viewer (http://camorama), or GTK UVC video viewer (apt:guvcview)
