Install ubuntu from ubuntu desktop

Hi,

can be installed ubuntu from ubuntu desktop(installed)?
For better understand: My ubuntu 13.04 is running on /dev/sda3 and I need install him to /dev/sdb1 without CD, USB,..

+how to?

Almost everything is possible with linux. But some things are more difficult. It is easiest to install using the standard methods (via CD/DVD/USB).

- Why do you want to do it in another way?

- What do you want: A cloned copy of the present system (but moved to the second drive /dev/sdb), or a new and slightly different system?
