Hello folks,

I put Ubuntu 13.04 amd64+mac image into USB stick and tried to boot it. I got 'no bootable device - insert boot disk and press any key to continue' message. That was very low chance to get it through but it ended up 'no bootable device' message instead after 2nd attempt boot. I put rEFInd boot manager on MacBook Pro and tried that again. I got same messages.

I downloaded Ubuntu 13.04 amd64 (without +mac) live CD and Universal USB installer. I put live CD into USB stick on PC by using USB installer.

I tried to boot it in EFI mode and ended up grub> prompt. Boot stalled. I entered 'ls' to see filesystem list. I tried (hd0,mdos1) but they looks fine.

Does anyone know solution to boot Ubuntu 13.04 on MacBook Pro Retina?

Thanks,
