I have been given a laptop which has Ubuntu 10:10 installed - this is no longer supported. This Laptop has NO cd/dvd/ facilities - if possible I want to upgrade to the latest release, but this will have to be online. When I try to do this thro' update manger it keeps telling me I am up to date , and no new releases available.

You can install 13.04 using a USB flash drive: http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop/install-desktop-latest
