Mail order CD burning service

I don't have a CD burner, but I'd like to put some of my mp3's on CD to play in my car. Is there a mail order service where I can upload my data and have them mail it to me? What would good search terms even be, everything I can find seems to revolve around getting mass quantities of music discs for distribution. Thanks.

Doubt there is a mail order thing like that. Could you ask a friend to burn some music to a CD for you?

Otherwise you could always pick up a slimline or normal dvd burner and be good to go. I bought a slimline dvd burner when i had my netbook and it has come in handy on more than one occasion.

Yeah I just figured because outsourcing photo printing works so well for me:
1) no dealing with printer shenanigans
2) I only print photos every couple of months
3) 150 photos for $5, yes please
4) quality is way better than I'd get at home
5) no printer sitting around unused most of the time.

So I figured I'd at least try with music. Down the newegg rabbit hole I go. It just feels so silly for like 5 disks, guess it's a little better than having to get a printer though. Maybe I can just put a newer stereo in the car with an aux in...

+1. I ended up replacing the unit in my car with one that included a USB port and aux in... all cuz the cd part stopped working on the original..

Do you have a local library?

My library is free to join and you get free access to the computers which all have CD burners. The only cost would be a few quid for a spindle of CD's.

I'm going to echo CharlesA's original suggestion here. If this is something you're going to do fairly often, and you're already willing to pay someone else to do it, why not invest US$30 in a USB CD burner like this one:

Or, for $20, you could install a DVD/CD burner in your computer -- unless it's a laptop.

If you have a usb port in your car stereo, could you not just use a flash drive or a cheap ipod.
