I know it, but I mean their own brand, so on the notebook won't be acer, asus, dell or other hardware creator, but ubuntu logo.

Canonical is a sofware company and have no intention of going into selling hardware. This has been confirmed by Jon Bacon. Canonical is working with hardware manufacturers to support them in bringing to market hardware with Ubuntu pre-installed. It will be similar to today where we can buy devices that are labelled both with a manufacturer's brand and an OS brand. So, we can be certain that Canonical is not going to do an Apple - claim devices as its own when they are made by others.

Regards.

"Canonical is working with hardware manufacturers to support.." This doesn't implies that Cannonical cannot release notebook under his own brand(without manufacturer's brand). Look on Google android. Google is also software company but have their own devices under their own brand eg. Google Nexus, but support other manufacturer's as Samsung, LG, HTC..
