Hi,

as I read on Prolinux (German Linux Onlinemag, http://www.pro-linux.de/news/2005/7950.html) today, Mr. Shuttleworth has started a new project (http://www.schooltool.org) which aims at the orginisational part of schools. It is really interesting and appealing to see that there is a chance that Free Software is now aiming at a part of education that (as far as i know) has not been covered before.
I do think that it is really important that both teachers and pupils learn to use software that does not force them into dependency of commercial companies.

Just my 2 cent,
Ember
